Nelson E. Spencer Jr. "Spence" 65 of Port Orange FL left this earth on July 30 2010.

Mr. Spencer was born Jan. 25 1945 in Hartford Connecticut to the late Nelson and Marion Spencer. Mr. Spencer graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Middletown Connecticut. He lived most of his life in Vernon Connecticut until moving to Port Orange Florida in 2009. Nelson was gifted with his hands and manufactured custom wood clocks. He traveled in his motor home around the east coast of the United States selling his hand made clocks for over 12 years with his wife Sandra at his side. He also enjoyed NASCAR. He proudly and eagerly watched his son Garett as he worked as a car chief for NASCAR driver Jamie McMurray. He will greatly miss his dogs Jessie and Shadow.

Nelson is survived by his wife Sandra; his daughters; Kimberly and her husband Russell Ramsdell and Virginia Washington; his son Garett and his wife Marcy Putnam; by five grandchildren Codey Spencer Jackson Corrina and Kristen. Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 3 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange FL. Between the hours of 1 - 2 pm. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Tuesday August 3 at 2:00 pm.
