Nelly M. Honcharik, 91, of Ormond Beach, formerly of Connecticut, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Ormond Beach Care Center, Ormond Beach.

Nelly was born July 26, 1924 in Born in Lie'ge, Belgium to Emile and Marie (Wilkin) Charlier. She emigrated from Belgium to the United States in 1960 and upon her retirement from Sikorsky Aircraft in Stafford, Connecticut, she then relocated to Ormond Beach in 1990.
Nelly loved animals, flowers, and nature. She was a very pleasant, strong-willed lady.
She loved life, good food, and will be remembered as a kind, generous individual.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter Honcharik, and is survived by her loving, caring friend and caretaker, Marie Bernadel.
