Our Mom was born on the family farm to Paul and Tekla Olearnek on December 2nd , 1921 , in Dauphin , Manitoba , Canada . By the age of 18 she did not want to be a farm girl any longer , so she moved to Detroit Michigan and lived with her Aunt and Uncle . She worked during WW Il in a factory on aircraft where she met Ted McClure and they were married . Their first son Ted was born in Detroit , but soon after they moved to Pennsylvania , where her two other sons , Mike and Pat were born . In 1957 the family moved to Daytona Beach Florida . Mom worked as a housekeeper fo r several families on the beachside . Dad passed away in 1968 , when Mom was 47 years old . She continued working until she was 75 years old and retired to work in her yard and to help others . Mom enjoyed dancing and took lessons from Arthur Murry Studio in Daytona . She attended Ballroom dances with several different friends over the years . She liked to travel and went on many cruises . Her main love was for her family and her church fellowship . She was a member of Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church , Port Orange , FL
