Neil J. Kreitman passed away October 4, 2022 in Ormond Beach, Florida under the care of hospice. He was surrounded by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Marisa, and sister-in-law Anita Costanzo. He died from complications of a bicycle accident in Floral City, Florida, his former residence.

Neil was born in Long Island, New York, on November 29, 1956, the 5th child of the late Abe and Dorothy Radlauer Kreitman. He moved to Florida while in high school and resided in Florida all his adult life. He graduated with an engineering degree from University of South Florida and worked as an engineer in several fields throughout his life. His engineering skills, natural talents, and love of learning led him into other professional fields, as well. For several years, he was self-employed as a master cabinet and furniture designer. In his later years, he worked for Florida State Prison System PRIDE Program, teaching incarcerated individuals technical and woodworking skills. He was deeply proud of his contributions to this program and helping to provide inmates with professional skills to successfully transition out of incarceration.

Neil loved the outdoors, sharing these passions with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid cyclist, water and snow skier, hiker, camper and boater. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Margaret Ruocco Kreitman and loving children (in age orger): Michael (Michelle) LaManna, John (Nelly) LaManna, Jennifer Merritt, and Marisa (Dustin) Whitelaw, as well as 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by 5 siblings: Rose Wolf, Martin, Bruce, Alan and Felice Kreitman, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
