Ned E. Woods 80 of Daytona Beach Shores passed away on Friday December 24 2010. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church on Thursday December 30 at 11am. Visitation will follow the mass at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave from 1pm-2pm. Ned was born on March 10 1930 to the late John Woods and Bonnie Arrowood-Spicer. He served in the United States Navy & later attended University of Florida to become licensed in Real Estate. Ned enjoyed many years working independently as a Real Estate Broker. Ned was a member of the Moose Lodge Eagles Elks and The Halifax River Yacht Club. He was a very social person & always the life of the party. He enjoyed entertaining friends music; but most importantly his family. Ned was a very devoted husband father & grandfather. Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Stepp Woods daughter Carol Stepp parents John Woods & Bonnie Arrowood; sister Mary Ruth Giddens; brothers Wade Carl Lee & Billy Spicer. Survivors include daughters Shannon Kathleen Woods; Margaret Lynn Woods; & Joanne (Mike) Sirus; sons Martin Ned (Teri) Woods & Ronnie (Lynda) Stepp. He also leaves behind six grandchildren many extended family members & a multitude of friends.
