Nathan Edward Parrish (Ed), age 70, passed away on May 19, 2018 at Fl. Memorial Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. Nathan was born to Nathan W. and Daisy H. Parrish on July 7 1947 in Daytona Beach, Fl. He graduated from Mainland High in the class of 1966, and proudly served his country in The U.S. Army. Nathan retired from the military after 23 years of service and started his second career with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and retired from there as well after a 20+ year career. Nathan was a great family man, loving father, and coach. His family and friends will always remember him as touching many hearts in the community as a softball coach for many years. He was preceded in death by his Father Nathan W. Parrish, of South Daytona, his Mother Daisy H. Parrish of South Daytona and his brother Spencer Parrish of Daytona Beach, Fl.   Nathan is survived by his wife, Chae S. Parrish of South Daytona, Fl.; his two daughters, Kymberlee A. Parrish (30), of Lake Mary, Fl. & Elizabeth M. Parrish (28), of Statesboro, Ga., his sister Patricia Antrobus, of Holly Hill, Fl., and his brother Ronald Parrish of South Daytona, Fl. Funeral Services for Nathan will be held on Friday May 25 ^th at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona beginning at 5 pm, with visitation starting one hour prior.
