Nanette Caradonna, 89, of Lake Helen, Florida passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025 in Orange City, Florida.
She was born to Dominick and Carmela (Tagliavia) Baldasarra in Brooklyn, New York on April 25. 1935.
Nanette is survived by her children, Joanne Caradonna, Michael (Patricia) Caradonna, and Laura (Gary) Seitner; her six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sister; and one granddaughter-in-law.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Salvatore Caradonna; and her parents Dominick and Carmela Baldasarra.
She was a graduate of Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn New York, and worked for 40 years as a Registered Nurse. She worked at the former West Volusia Memorial Hospital DeLand, Florida as an Assistant Head Nurse of the Labor and Delivery Department. She retired in 1998 as an Assistant Director of Nursing after 34 years of service.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and served as a member of the Young at Heart Senior Adult group (the Yahoos).
Her greatest joy in life was to serve (especially to cook for) her beloved family when they were gathered around her. Her greatest desire was for all to know the Love of Jesus.
Revelation 21:4(KJV) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, Neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
