Nancy Elise Robbins, age 97, of Daytona Beach, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice with her family by her side. She was born on February 26, 1924, in Richmond, VA to Addie and Jessie Whitmore. The family moved to Sanford, FL where she attended Sanford High School. Nancy joined the US Army Medical Corps during WWII and obtained rank of Corporal with an honorable discharge. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1947 where she met the love of her life, Junior Robbins, at a dance at the Daytona Beach Pier. She enjoyed bowling and loved her soap operas. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Nancy is survived by her sons, John "Buster" H. Robbins III and his wife Teresa Robbins of Ramstein Air Base, Germany; and Ronald "Ronnie" G. Robbins and his wife Christine Robbins of Ormond Beach; Grandchildren, Melissa McSweeney and her husband Jeff McSweeney of Ormond Beach, Sean Robbins of Daytona Beach, Kellis Robbins of Washington, Shoshannah Robbins of Germany; Great-Grandchildren, Kirsten McSweeney, Colton McSweeney and Macey McSweeney of Ormond Beach; Sisters, Barbara Fromberger of Ormond Beach and Stella Hartwick of Katey, TX; Linda Robbins of Ormond Beach and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband John "Junior" H. Robbins, Jr of 62 years, and her son Jeffery Robbins. A Visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am with the Funeral Service being held at 11am all on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Lohman's Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave in Daytona Beach, FL. Entombment will follow in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach.
