Nancy Rigdon age 77 of Colony in the Woods in Port Orange passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday January 15 2009. A memorial service is planned for a later date in Iowa and inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Nancy was born in Macon City married the love of her life in "the Little Brown Church in the Vale" Nashua Iowa and devoted her talents as a Lab Technician for Grain Processing until her retirement in 1994. She dedicated her life as a loving wife mother and grandmother. Nancy enjoyed traveling with her husband "playing" at the casinos supporting her "bowling" family and raising her orchids. She served and kept the faith at Calvary United Methodist Church Her friendship was an inspiration and her love a blessing she had a "Good Life" was a "good Mom" and her memory is enshrined in the hearts of her family. She lives behind her beloved husband Jack Rigdon 6 daughters; Catherine (Larry) Snyder Caran (Ron) Evans Carolyn (Clark) Tiecke Jaclyn (Kevin) Edwards Nealene Freeze and Candace (James) Barfield 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
