Nancy Collette Ogle Purucker, of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, passed away
on December 18, 2018 at Halifax Health Hospice in Port Orange, FL. She
was 72.
Born on February 27, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of
Jane Louella Defibaugh Ogle and Edmund Thomas Ogle. Her siblings
include Shirley Birsa of Eldersburg, MD, Edmund Thomas Ogle
(deceased), Donald Rennie Ogle of Reisterstown, MD, Brenda Gardner of
Denton, MD and Roger Ogle of Cambridge, MD. Nancy married Steven Lee
Purucker on February 11, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. Nancy was a loving
sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, she approached everything she
did in her life with amazing grace and was always ready with a smile.
She was an active member of the Crossroads Bible Church and trusted
Jesus Christ for eternal life. She was an incredible Mom to her 4
children; Tom Purucker and wife Sharon of Durham, NC, Chris Purucker
of Wilbur-by-the-Sea, FL, Dori Purucker of Ponce Inlet, FL, and Kevin
Purucker and wife Dayanis of Ponce Inlet, FL. She was also very proud
of her 8 grandchildren.
A private burial will be at Daytona Memorial Park in Daytona Beach. A
celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at
5:00 PM at the Cracked Egg Diner, 3280 S Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach
Shores, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer
Research Foundation.
