Nancy A. McGuire, aged 86, passed away on May 26, 2026, in Port Orange, FL. Born on November 20, 1939, Nancy was known for her infectious humor and ability to bring laughter and light into any room. Her knack for telling bawdy jokes made her a memorable presence, delighting all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by a loving and extensive family, including her children Shon (Patti), Robin (Al), and Patty (Richard); 17 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Carla; son-in-law Ellis; brother Johnny; sister Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her life was enriched by devoted friends, including Tom and Betsy. Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert, her children Kathy, Tim, and Rick, grandson Chris, her parents, and four siblings.

Throughout her life, Nancy was an active member of the Port Orange VFW and a lifetime member of the Red Hat Society. Her passion for travel saw her and Robert exploring numerous destinations, with a special fondness for their vacation home on Scaly Mountain, Georgia, where they hosted loved ones. The couple, who eloped and were inseparable for over six decades, moved to the Daytona area in 1971, where they raised their six children.

A funeral service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 on July 1st at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Nancy's memory, honoring her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to so many lives.
