Funeral service for Nancy Elizabeth Koenig 96 who died peacefully on October 24 2007 at Manor on the Green will be held on Saturday October27 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Lohman funeral home Daytona. The family will receive friends for calling hours on Saturday October 27 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private following the service at Daytona Memorial Park. Mrs. Koenig was born in Washington D.C. on March 24 1911. She moved to this area in 1969 from Maryland. Mrs. Koenig enjoyed cooking watching T.V. playing cards Jai Alai and being with her family. Mrs. Koenig is predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Mr. Charles F. Koenig Sr. Mrs. Koenig is survived by her daughter Nancy Jones of Port Orange; a son Charles F. Koenig Jr. of Ormond Beach; one grandson Lee Koenig of Lake Mary; Niece Jo Hochheimer of Lineboro MD; niece Camelia Beall of Port Richey FL; niece Jo Drummond of Manassas VA.
