Nancy Jones Folker age 65 passed away on October 31 2012 in Orange City Florida.

Nancy Dietz Folker was born in Pottsville Pennsylvania. She was raised on a dairy farm and worked with her parents as a young girl. She graduated from Chestertown Maryland High School and Goldy Beacon School of Business Delaware. She worked several years in local offices in DeLand.

She served 23 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves on the ship Laffette also was on the Admirals Ship for 9 months sailing from one country to another. In later years she was owner and operator of a Bed and Breakfast named Victorian Lace in DeLeon Springs.

She was active in the D.A.R. in Daytona Beach and had many proven Revolutionary War members. Her hobby was with Genealogy which she took very seriously. Nancy was patient and kind and will be sadly missed by her loving Husband Charlie and family.

She is survived by a son Brian Radtka his children Kirstyn attending University of Florida in Gainesville Ian a 12 year old student and Jeremiah 4 years old. A son Jimmy Jones DeLeon Springs 2 Children Haleigh and Branden in California. A stepson Michael and Neomia Dover Delaware and four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She will be sadly missed by her parents Dorothy and Lewis Dietz DeLand also three sisters Karleen and Jerry Carter DeLand Nancy and Ernest Griffey Deland and Sharon and Rick from Radford Virginia. A brother John Dietz and Claudia in Gainesboro Tennessee. Numerous nieces and nephews will be sadly missing her.

A visitation will be held at Lohman Funeral Home DeLand, 935 E. New York Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724 on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 11am-1pm. A funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Deland Memorial Gardens.
