The viewing will be held Friday, September 26, 2014, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL. The Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 27, 2014, 11:00 am at Spruce Creek Baptist Church, 1952 Taylor Road, Port Orange, FL.
Nancy thoroughly enjoyed working with Central Florida Raceway Ministry, serving as a great raceway volunteer. It was hard to keep her away from the track. Her heart was to share Jesus with the world and show the love of Christ. She had been a member of Spruce Creek Baptist Church for seven years and, then, for the last year a member of First Baptist Church South Daytona.
Nancy loved fishing, mowing with her John Deere Tractor (grass and leaves). During the 70's, she was an interpreter for the deaf in Daytona Beach and was always very active in the churches pastored by her husband. She loved spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her son, Rev. Hayes B. Davis, Jr (Bernie) and wife, Teri; a daughter, Nanette Hamilton and husband, Keith; four grandchildren, Hayes B. Davis, III and wife, Ashley; Rachel Clark and husband, Chris; Dana Tomko and husband, Kevin; Brian Hamilton and wife, Ashley; seven great grandchildren, Joseph, Jesslyn, and Jacey Tomko; Ben and Ava Davis; Aislyn and Brodi Hamilton; and one sister, Mary Maddox.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona. Condolences for the family may be shared through this online guestbook.
