Nancy Miller Byrd, 89, of Amelia Courthouse, VA and Daytona Beach, FL, was granted her angel wings on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Nancy was born on October 21, 1931 to Giles Bland Miller and Lenora (Hall) Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Harold "Buddy" Byrd, WWII Navy Veteran; daughter, Kathe Byrd and two sons, Dan Byrd (Jill), and David Byrd (Lori); grandchildren, Kym Cady, Billy Morford (Charleston), Bryan Morford (Shelley), Lexi Byrd, and Nikki Byrd; great-grandchildren, Kyla Cady, Bryson Morford, Addy Morford, Maggie Morford, "baby" Morford, Shay White, and Kiki White.

Nancy was one of nine children. Preceded in death by her brothers James Miller, George Miller, Willie Miller, and Alfred Miller; sisters, Margaret Weston, Ivah Teasdale, and Janet Little. She is survived by her sister, Etta Blonsick and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 4 at Daytona Memorial Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. The family invites you to pay your respects during visitation at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach, which will begin one hour prior to the service.
