Nancy Briggs Arnold age 91 of Deland passed away on Monday February 7 2011. A 1:00pm service at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes Friday Feb. 11 followed by an interment at Lakeview Cemetery in Sanford FL. Nancy was born in Springfield Massachusetts to Harold and Althea Arnold. She was a hard working independent practical woman with a talent for knitting crocheting and sewing. Nancy was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Deland. She served as a Missionary at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City UT. She was an avid volunteer; at Osteen Elementary School as an environmental instructor at Bicentennial Youth Park and a Sunday School Teacher. Her husband of 45 years Russell Arnold preceded her in death. She leaves behind 4 children: Martha Bush Theresa (Elmer) Kitchen Harold (Sharon) Arnold and Wiley (Jackie) Arnold 2 sisters: Joan (Rex) Kuykendall and Betty Mientas 17 grandchildren and two generations of grandchildren.
