Munir "Bill" Fuad Sarkis, 79, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away June 3, 2015. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 3:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Bill was born in Cairo, Egypt. He studied foreign languages and earned his Doctorate at the University of Alabama. Bill settled his family in the Daytona Beach area where he accepted the position of Foreign Languages Professor at DBCC. He taught there for 30 years.

Bill was very sociable and enjoyed spending time with his friends. He was a talented painter. His great passion was following BAMA football; Roll Tide! But Bill's real love was his family and visiting with them.
Bill will be sadly missed by his children Lisa Snowden and Eric Sarkis, by his son-in-law Bo Snowden and beloved grandson Cole Snowden, by his former wife and friend Monica Sarkis, and by his many friends.
