Funeral services for Montica Howell 49 of Daytona Beach who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 21 2006 will be 4:00pm Wednesday December 27 2006 at the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Mrs. Howell was born June 29 1957 in Akron Ohio to James and Linda Boggs. She moved to the Daytona area form West Virginia in 1972. Graduating from Mainland High School Montica then attended D.B.C.C. where in 1978 she graduated as a registered nurse. She later worked at Halifax Medical Center for many years retiring last year. Montica was a member of the First Baptist Church Daytona Beach and enjoyed sewing baking and shopping.
Those who will loving remember Montica include her husband of 28 years Henry; a son Buba (DeAnna) Howell Daytona Beach FL; a daughter Amanda Collmar Port Orange FL; mother Linda Lastinger Daytona Beach FL; two brothers Robert Hardberger Daytona Beach FL and Timothy Hardberger Palm Coast FL; a sister Kim Dunn Port Orange FL; a half brother Jackie Boggs Circleville OH; an aunt Faye Boggs Craigsville WV; and two grandchildren Elijah and Devon.
Her father James Boggs preceded Montica in death.
