Montague "Monty" William DeWolfe, Jr.

Montague "Monty" William DeWolfe, Jr., of Daytona Beach, Florida passed away
on Wednesday May 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87.
He was born on June 15,1935 and was raised in Springfield, Massachusetts by
his parents, the late Montague and Mary DeWolfe. Following his graduation from
the College of Holy Cross he served his country for four years as a Marine Corps
aviator. After completion of his military service, he began his 34 year career in
information technology working for ITT, General Electric, Honeywell, and the
Department of Defense developing computer and communication systems in
support of the military.

Monty moved from his lifetime residence in Vienna, Virginia to Pelican Bay in
Daytona Beach after his retirement from the government. He enjoyed his
retirement years playing golf, traveling and cruising with his loving wife, reading,
and doing crosswords. He was an avid sports fan supporting the Celtics, Bruins,
Red Sox and the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Cecilia, five children, Kelly Lindsey
(Mike, who preceded him in death), Montague, III, Constance (Archie),
Christopher (Stephanie), and Mark; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 1, 2023 at 8:30
AM at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd, Port
Orange, Florida 32129. Inurnment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park, 1425
Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach, Florida 32114. A reception will be held
immediately following the graveside service at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona,
1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.
