Moedon Rachel Varner Singleton age 91 of Lecanto FL formerly of Deland went to her heavenly rewards on January 19 2012. A funeral service in her honor will be held on Tuesday January 24 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Oakdale Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday January 23 2012 from 5:00 -7:00 PM. Moedon was born in S. Carolina to Charlie and Esda Stone she devoted her life as a homemaker and for a time working as a nurses aid for the elderly and was a member of Praise Chapel Church Deland. She was a quiet gentle caring lady who was a wonderful cook with remarkable music talent and was a gifted prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents a daughter Jane Singleton and her husband Jasper Singleton.
