Marian Smith age 98 of Edgewater passed away on Monday May 11 2009 at Indigo Manner in Daytona Beach. An 11:00 gathering for a funeral service in her honor held Friday May 15 2009; 11:30 AM at the Edgewater New Smyrna Cemetery 700 S. Ridgewood Ave. Edgewater with Elder Arnold Kalaj officiating entombment will follow.

Marian was born in Seymour Indiana. She spent 10 years working as a food demonstrator but dedicated her life as a devoted wife mother grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Smith was a proud member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall New Smyrna Beach Church. She shared her joyous personality with everyone who knew her she loved taking care of and spending time with her family doting over her yard going out to dinner animals serving up a well cooked meal and her church family.

Her beloved husband of 56 years Alfred Smith a son David Smith and five siblings including her twin sister preceded her in death.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 children; Carol Prather and her husband Austin and Benjamin Smith and his wife Diane. 8 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren
