Miriam Setzer ne Amass age 93 passed away at Avante Villa nursing home on Saturday July 15 2006. Services will be held Tuesday July 18th at 2:00pm at Temple Beth El Ormond Beach FL with Rabbi Altman officiating. Interment will follow Thursday July 20th at Hebrew Friendship Cemetery Baltimore MD at 11am. Miriam was pre-deceased by her husband Samuel J. Setzer. Born in Baltimore MD she was involved locally in many organizations such as Ladies Auxiliary of Ner Israel Rabbinical College Life Member B?nai Brith of Ormond Beach NA?Amat USA Lifetime Member Amit-Sarah Ribakow Chapter Life Member Brandise Temple Bethel the Casement Guild The Museum of Arts & Sciences True Sisters JEA Fellowship Assoc. and a Life member of Hadassah. She was particularly known for her power of the pen and her ability to speak and write eloquently was a true gift. She had a remarkable zest for living and was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She never uttered an unkind word and was known for her loving disposition. Her youngest batch of grandchildren knew her as ?Little Bubby? and will be sorely missed. She is survived by 2 daughters Minna Anthony Kapinos Ormond Beach; Eileen Steve Barber Baltimore MD; Two brothers Walter Amass Baltimore MD; Tom Amass S. Carolina; nine grandchildren Kenneth Kapinos Orlando; Ronald Dawn Baddock Arnold MD; Bonnie Ann Baddock pre-deceased; Michael Kathy Kapinos Apopka; Joshua Tara Kapinos Gainesville FL; Holly Anne Mark Boice Ormond Beach; Irvin Stacey Baddock MD; Shawn Barber Hollywood CA; Sherri Barber Baltimore MD; sister-in-law Sara Ostrusky Annapolis MD.
