Milton L. Simmons of The Falls Ormond Beach died peacefully at home Monday April 5th. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 8th at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Ormond Funeral Home 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.

He was a skilled trade sheet metal worker for General Motors in Flint Michigan for 36 years. Born in Flint an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War he was stationed in England where he met and married his wife Iris. He enjoyed photography gardening dancing jogging traveling golfing and bowling.

Survivors he leaves behind are his wife of 52 years Iris; 2 sons Larry R. Simmons of Holly Hill FL and Steven L. Simmons of Orlando FL; a daughter Michelle Bontrager of Swartz Creek MI; sister Kathy of Flint; brother Monte of Bay City MI; 3 grandchildren: Trevor Winn Amanda Winn of Swartz Creek MI and Steven A. of Paragould AR; nieces Brooke and Nicole; and nephew Nathan and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made in Milton?s honor to Hospice Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129.
