Millard ?Bill? Meres passed away peacefully Sunday November 7th at the Coquina Center in Ormond Beach. Services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church 1205 Ridgewood Av Holly Hill FL 32117 Friday 11:00am November 12th.
Mr. Meres was born January 19 1925 in Bronxville NY to Millard and Leola Meres. He served in the US Army Air Corp. during WWII. Bill a locksmith moved to Ormond Beach from New York 26 years ago and opened ?Bill?s Locksmith? which is still in business run by his son. Bill was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Holly Hill American Legion Post 120 Holly Hill and enjoyed playing cards.
Those who will miss Bill include his wife of 36 years Joan five sons Robert Meres NY Norman Meres VA Michael Friedman MA Keth Meres NY Leo Meres FL three daughters Laurel Meres DE Marlene Goodstein CA and Susan Meres-Baker FL sisters Marion Wright NY and Leola Farrell NV sisters in law Betty Meres NJ and Florence Meres FL 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

A son Rodger preceded Bill in death.
