Louis Milioti of Holly Hill passed away quietly in his home on Sunday December 6 2009 just short of his 95th birthday. A 12:30 visitation and 2:00 funeral service in his honor will be held on Tuesday December 15 at the Daytona Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach followed by an interment at Daytona Memorial Park.
Louis was born in Hammonton New Jersey to Vincenzo and Antoni Milioti. He worked for the US Navy during WWII to maintain the Naval Base in Miami. He was a devoted residential builder from 1942-1958 in Miami and from 1958 until his retirement in 1972 in South Daytona and Florida Shores. In the early 60's he served on the City Council to pave the future for South Daytona. Louis was a strong independent gentleman who traveled to various place including China Central and Latin America to discover all this world has to offer. He enjoyed hunting fishing and tending his vegetable garden.
His wife Florence and a son-in-law Robert Michael Langelier preceded him in death and he is survived by his children; Captain USN Louis Milioti and his wife Ramona and Carol Langelier 6 grandchildren; Louis R. Milioti Curtis P. Milioti Cynthia L. Paine Christina L. Hamilton Gerald R. Langelier and Robert P. Langelier and 7 great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Beach.
