Memorial service for Mrs Mildred A. Thompson Long 77 will be held in the chapel of Baggett & summers Funeral Home on Wednesday January 17 at 3pm Her family will receive friends from 2pm till time of service. Mrs. Long passed away on Friday morning at her home in Bunnell. Born in Sanford she was a lifelong resident of the area. Mildred was the Homecoming Queen and the Sweetheart of the Typhoon Club in her graduating class of 1947 at Mainland High school. She was a former member of the Flomich Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing gardening traveling and just being outdoors. Wife of the late Charles A. she is survived by her son Charles A. Long II and his wife Donita of Bunnell her daughter Connie Marshalland her husband Morris of Daytona her sister and brother in law Evelyn and Carl Bott of South Daytona and her 3 grandchildren; Margaret Marshall Charles A Long III and Chad A Long. Mildred was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Greene.
