Miguel A. Gonzalez Sr. 83 of Palm Coast FL. passed away July 4 2011 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. A Visitation will be held on Thursday July 7 2011 from 3:00pm until the Funeral Service at 6:00pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast FL. Miguel was born in Buenos Aires Argentina and then moved to Uruguay. In search of something new he found his way to New Jersey before moving to Palm Coast FL. in 2003. Miguel was employed as an enforcement officer of which was more of a hobby to him than a job. He loved putting on his uniform and heading out to work. Miguel was known as a wonderful and strong man. He thrived off of learning; spending his time reading the Readers Digest National Geographic and Medical books. He was a student of Life. Miguel earned the nickname "Sunshine Smile" for his radiant outlook on life. He loved his family and friends dearly. Miguel is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Mary Gonzalez of FL his son Christian Gonzalez of FL his daughter Roxanne Foy and her husband Lewis of NJ. Miguel was also the proud grandfather to grandchildren: Adrian Giselle and Bailey all of NJ. He also leaves behind son Miguel Gonzalez Jr. of NJ daughter Patricia Nardini of CT and grandchildren Vanina Victor Manuel Jr. Vanessa and 4 great-grandchildren.
