Michael Anthony Wiesmore, 47, a resident of Port Orange passed away on Monday January 13, 2014. A Celebration of his life will be held at Lohman Funeral Home; 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, Fl on Saturday, January 18,2014 at 11:00am. Born in Beacon NY in 1966 Michael was raised a short distance away in Orange County New York where he attended the Minisink Valley School System. He moved to Florida in 1989 with his family, attended college and became a paramedic. Michael worked as a Paramedic for EVAC for many years and later for Prison Health Services of Volusia County. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Mary Schlitt and Aunt Laura Pettit. He is survived by his Mother and Father, Al«ce and Ken Wiesmore, twin Brother, Stephen (Courtney), Sister, Stacey (Scott), Nieces and Nephews, Alyssa, Cole, Chase and Tess, and special people in his life, Aunt Cindy, Uncle Joe, Dr. Tui, Dawn and Lisa, along with many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, co-workers and friends. Michael was dedicated to his family; he enjoyed attending his nieces and nephews games and concerts. Mike loved to play golf and hike, his deepest love was for Jake, his rescue dog and best friend. Mike was good to everyone, he had a kind and generous heart and will be missed by so many. Mike could often be heard saying, "I Just want World Peace", "Love the World and the World will Love you back" and "It's all good". In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society. And as Mike would say "Be Good!"...
