Michael John Szymczak 57 of Ormond Beach FL passed away suddenly on March 30 2011. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 2nd; 5:00-8:00 pm at the Ormond Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home; A Funeral Mass in his honor will be held Sunday April 3rd; 3:00 pm at Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church 317 Mullally Street Daytona Beach FL. Michael was born April 2 1953 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to John S. and Anne (Terp) Szymczak. He graduated from Mercer County Community College an alumni of North Catholic High School and a member of; St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church the Oceanside Rotary Club Halifax River Yacht Club and former member of the Daytona Beach Moose Lodge 1263. He dedicated his life to the service of others as a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer and blesses us at the Lohman Funeral Homes with his talents as our Senior Funeral Director since 2002. He was a forthright judicious fun loving gentleman with a contagious smile bright eyes unmatched since of humor and a social chameleon respected by all who knew him. Michael loved the Florida Sunshine a superb meal riding his Harley socializing and cheering on his Philadelphia Eagles. His father John S. Szymczak and his brother John J.
