Michael Robert McLaughlin , known for having the spirit of the Fighting Irish had his fight come to an end on September 20, 2020. He grew up in Millville, NJ where he loved fishing in Union Lake, hunting and riding in his Jeep. His next adventure led him to Rowan College where he played football, partied more than he should, and started bouncing in clubs and bars. The club scene led him to Daytona Beach. Mike loved being known as "Big Mike'' and everything about him was bigger and larger than life. He had a huge heart and was always helping others, he had a huge appetite, big and loud mouth, and giant bear hugs. The biggest love of his life was his son, Hunter Warren McLaughlin. His big heart also loved his dad (Warren), his mom who was his best friend (Paula), his sisters (Ali and Stephanie), his brothers (Matt and Chris), nieces (goddaughter- Madie, Merie, and Meadow) and his nephew/godson (Maximus) and his faithful girlfriend Bailey- his yellow Labrador. He leaves behind a large Irish clan with many beloved uncles, aunts and cousins.  Mike made friends wherever he went and they quickly became family. He lost his courageous battle with death and Mike would want it known to all that he died as a result of being stubborn and raising hell for over four decades. He loved Crown Royal, America, Oscar Mayer cheese dogs, guns, trucks, lottery scratch offs, tattoos, fishing, riding four wheelers with Hunter and family but Mikey's big heart was worn out.

In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask for donations to be made in a secured trust fund account on behalf of his son Hunter Warren McLaughlin. This trust will  help Hunter's future endeavors when he becomes of age. Due to Michael not having life insurance, to offset the cost of funeral, burial services and expenses donations would be very appreciated.
