Michael William Padgett, 70, of Palm Coast, FL, died August 31, 2015.
Born July 31, 1945 in The military Hospital in North Carolina before moving to Florida.
His dad was in the Marines when Michael was born to the late Elese and Arthur Padgett. Michael dedicated his life to fishing, hunting, and his black lab Shadow and all of his family. Family was everything to him and his son Marc was his everything. He enjoyed fishing with his life long friends of Palm Coast, his only son Marc and grandson Hunter from Jacksonville. He enjoyed especially his annual hunting trips with three generations of 'Michael' Padgett men; him his son Marc and grandson Hunter.
Surviving, a Son Michael 'Marcus' Padgett and Nicole Padgett, five grandchildren Kerrigan 19, Kennedy 18 Michael 'Hunter' 16 Lexi 13 and Ethan 6, all of Jacksonville three brothers, Mike, Pat and Jimmy. They are the best brothers one could ask for. One thing one always knows is the Padgetts always have each others backs and family is everything. Cousins, Rea Fleckenstein, Tommy Thompson (Jane) their kids Chris and Susan, and numerous other family members and friends. Above all he will be missed by the most by his partner in life, his dog Shadow 'Old Man II' Padgett. They were inseparable.
A celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at The Lohman Funeral Home, 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
