A Memorial Service for Michael L. Myerson age 70 of Ormond Beach FL who died Wednesday August 3 2005 at his home in Ormond Beach FL will be held 4:00pm Saturday August 13 2005 in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with Rev. Bob Moorehead as officiant.
Mike was born February 27 1935 in Philadelphia PA to David and Florence Myers Myerson. He has been a resident of Florida since moving from Rochester NY in 1991. Mr. Myerson served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War veteran. Mike graduated from Atlantic City High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland in 1961. He was the Director of International Sales Forecasting for Eastman Kodak. until his retirement in 1991 after 31 years of service. He was a member of Plantation Bay CC in Ormond Beach The Strand in Naples Wildwood GCC in New Jersey and the Newport Yacht Club in Rochester. He enjoyed sailing for 22 years until he gave it up for golf after his retirement. He was an active Red Cross Disaster Volunteer in Naples and Daytona Beach and also volunteered assembling sets for the Naples Community Theater. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Pat a son Jeff of Sugar Land TX two daughters Sandy Myerson of Kennesaw GA and Jill Feldman of Libertyville IL a sister Susan Klein of Ormond Beach FL and four grandchildren Kyle Connor Rachel and Collin.
