Michael Milo 73 of Debary passed away on Monday January 17 2011. A visitation will be held on Friday January 21 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach FL 32114 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 22 2011 in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home beginning at 11am. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery. Michael was born on October 31 1937 in Logan West Virginia to the late John and Marie Milo. The Milo family moved to Florida in 1950 and Michael attended Seebreeze High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1957. Following High School Michael joined the United States Marine Corp. He was honorably discharged after four years of service. Michael was immediately drafted into the United States Army where he was based on a missile site. There he was a member of the Expert Rifle Traveling Squad. Michael loved Nascar and although already ill insisted he attend the July race at Daytona International Speedway. He was also an avid fan of the Florida Gators and attended every game he could. He was a member of the Sheet Metal workers Union Local #15 for 47 years and the retired Metal Benders Club. Mr. Milo was also a member of the American Legion Post #53 of Sanford. Michael will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 20 years Sandra daughter Donna (Corey) Berman (Bailey and Brandon) son David (Lisa) Milo (Dracy & DJ) daughter Joyce (Billy) McKinley (Brandy & Billie) step-daughter Cherie (Bruce) Harnden (Rikki and Sean) step-son Dean (Ruth) Hartung step-daughter Holli (Doug) Harp (Charlie Cody and Dillon) two brothers Jack (Shirley) Jarrell (Debbie) and Harry Milo one sister Betty (Frank) McDonnell (Mickey & Libby) many extended family members and close friends.
