Michael Todd Lilly, known to his close family and friends as Todd, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Born in Grand Island, Nebraska during the spring of 1957 he was the son of the late Ronald and Marlene Dietrich Lilly. In addition to his parents, Todd was preceded in death by his sister, Koann Lawrence.

Todd honorably served in the US Army, having joined in 1978 in Denver, Colorado and discharged in 1984 after six years of service.

Todd had an amazing sense of humor. Even through the trials of life he somehow managed to make someone smile and gave them a sense that everything was going to be alright. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle that would sometimes take him to new places that he'd never been before, where he would easily make a new friend. Todd was also an avid collector of firearms. He was fond of his Big Gulp™ sodas and cold Coors Light™.

Todd will be fondly remembered by his wife and life partner of 27 years, Kathy; sister, Julie Aho; son, Chad and his wife Megan; and daughters, Mariah Lilly, Danielle Matthews and her husband Guy, and Jamee Whited and her husband Andy. He will also be sorely missed by his seven beloved grandchildren, Haley, Kenna, Ashton, Savannah, Lilly, Colton, and Ryker.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted 9:30am Monday, February 21, 2022 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida with military honors. Pastor Mark Spivey will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Ormond Beach Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes.
