Michael "Scott" Girvin 49 of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at home.
Scott was born on March 26 1962 in Daytona Beach. He grew up and lived in the Daytona area his entire life. He attended Warner Christian Academy high school and graduated from Forestry School in Lake City. Scott enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a great pilot and an avid reader. He loved deep sea fishing and scuba diving. He had a passion for Formula One racing. He will be sadly missed by his wife Tammy of Ormond Beach; parents Walter and Gladys Girvin of South Daytona; daughter Ashley of Indianapolis Indiana; sister Leslie "Sissy" Hunter (Ian) of Camas Washington; mother-in-law Mary Wood of Ormond; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday November 12 2011 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL 32174. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 with the Memorial service at 11:30.
