Michael True Dix, 75, of Holly Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Born on August 29, 1950, in Sanford, Florida, Mike lived a life defined by his love for the water and his dedication to his country. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served with honor before returning to the Florida coast he loved so dearly.

Mike was a true outdoorsman who found his greatest joy at the beach. In his younger years, he was a fixture on the sand as a lifeguard and an avid surfer, catching waves and enjoying the salt air at every opportunity. His connection to the ocean remained a defining part of his spirit throughout his life. He also loved his favorite music, such as The Oingo Boingo and The Alan Parsons Project just to name a few.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra L. Dix; his sons, Bradley Robert Dix and Ryan Michael Dix (Katherine); his brothers, Steven Dix (Susan) and Martin Dix (Darcy); and his cherished grandchildren, Rylynn and Everette Dix.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 U.S. Highway 1 North, Mims, FL 32754.

After the graveside service, the family would like to invite their family and friends to join them for a catered reception from 2:30 pm to 4:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home, Ormond Beach.
