Obituary

Michael "Mike" Chase, 57 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully with his family at his on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at home.

He was born March 18, 1962 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to Richard H. and Marjorie R. (Lyons) Chase. Michael served his in the U.S. Air Force as a Boom Operator.

He was a Quality Control Manager with Fluor, one of the world's largest engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and maintenance companies. He travelled with this job and got the opportunity to experience many places and meet wonderful people.

He was a member of the Masons and did many other community services in the areas that he traveled. He loved traveling with his wife and riding his motorcycle.  His motorcycle was his freedom, loved the air blowing through his hair.  He loved playing golf, smoking cigars, and one of his most precious memories was time he spent with his family.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Brenda Aldridge of Palm Coast, by his son, Jay Aldridge  and his girlfriend Michelle Hebb  of Palm Coast, his two daughters, Summer Tibbs, and her husband Charles of Bunnell, and Brittany Miedema and her husband, DJ of Titusville, and his daughter-in-law, Courtney Aldridge of Palm Coast, by his sisters Kathy James, and  her husband Robbie of Oklahoma and Sheila Whipkey of Florida, his sister – in-law Barbara Garey and her husband Chris of Lancaster, Ohio, brother – in -law Bart Leach and his wife Leasa of Sugar Grove, Ohio, and brother-in-law John Leach and his wife Tracey of Ohio, as well as his 8 grandchildren, Brendan, Michaela, Easton, McKenna, Kayleigh, Jocelyn, Zarah and Charlie and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marjorie Chase, his brother "Dickie", his mother and father in law Robert and Martha Leach, and his beloved dog, Parker. There will be no Service of Remembrance per Mike's request.  Please feel free to share any memories you have with his family through his Facebook page.
