Michael Angelo Affronte 82 of Palm Coast passed away July 27 2008. Born in New York City he and his wife of sixty-one years Mary moved here from Long Island 20 years ago. He went on to serve in the Navy in the Pacific theater during WWII. He was the past President of the Italian American Club of Palm Coast and a member of the V.F.W. as well as the Elks. Pre-deceased by his daughter Maria Battle he is survived by his wife Mary ( nee: Scandariato ) daughter Michele Affronte and her husband Gabor Bunda of Sausalito Ca. A memorial mass will be held Friday Aug. 1 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation one hour before at 12:00 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast.
