Merna J. Cornelius age 83 of Ormond Beach died June 15 2005 at her residence in Ormond Beach Fl. There will be a viewing on Friday June 17 2005 from 2-4 PM with a family service at 3PM at the Lohman Funeral Home Daytona Chapel.

Merna was born March 21 1922 to Frank and Emma Carothers in Beaver falls PA. She moved here in 1951 from Beaver falls PA. Merna graduated from High school with honors and was Ms. Beaver falls. She was a registered nurse and worked at Halifax Medical Center and Taught at DBCC. She enjoyed Knitting Crocheting Sewing computers and most of all her family.

Left to cherish her memories are Husband of 61yrs. Samuel Cornelius Ormond Beach; Sons Alan Ronald and Dale Cornelius all of Ormond Beach; Daughter Cheryl Cornelius Tampa Fl; Brother Floyd Carothers Avon Park FL Sisters Lenore McCracken Avon Park Fl Madolyn Lutz California; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
