Melvin W. VanKirk left us to take his place in Heaven September 8 2010. He was born July 20 1923 in Batesville IN; he resided in Baltimore MD from 1943 to 1986 and has resided in Port Orange Florida since 1986. Survived by his wife Mildred VanKirk; beloved son Rodney VanKirk and daughter-in-law Janette VanKirk; beloved daughter Linda Callan and son-in-law Wayne Callan; grandson James T. VanKirk; and beloved sister Martha Jane May. A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Tuesday September 14 2010 at 11AM at All Saints Lutheran Church 751 Dunlawton Avenue Port Orange Florida. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the All Saints Lutheran Church.
