Melodie Lynn Dehaven age 16 passed away on Saturday April 26 2003. Melodie was in her junior year of the Accelerated Program at Atlantic High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and a former member of the Atlantic High School Kiwanis Key Club. Melodie loved the beach music shopping and her dog Maxie.

Survivors include her mother Janet Marie Huff of South Daytona; her father and stepmother Michael C. and Toni DeHaven Sr. of Ormond Beach; her maternal grandparents Peter and Marlene Caruso of Philadelphia PA; her paternal grandparents Jack and Ouita Northcutt of Tennessee; a brother Michael C. DeHaven Jr. of South Daytona; two sisters Shelby Rae and Lena Mae Huff both of South Daytona; and her godparents Robert Carothers of Maryland and Peggy Stech of New Jersey.
