Maxine Alene Crane 81 beloved wife of Harvey Crane Jr. passed from this life Friday February 23. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 3 2007 at the Daytona Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes. She was born on December 21 1925 in Bancroft South Dakota. Maxine started at Crane Cams in 1964 as a clerk typist moving up to Executive Assistant to Harvey in 1970. Maxine and Harvey were married on December 7 1973. Harvey always liked to say that Maxine was the glue that held Crane Cams together. Maxine touched many lives in many different ways and blessed us all with her inspirational love of life. Among some of her passions in life she thoroughly enjoyed gardening and had a special interest in caring for her mangos and avocados and taking them to the market for others to enjoy. Maxine also had a deep love for all animals as well as for traveling. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 32 years Harvey one brother Keith in Wisconsin and three sisters Agnes Joyce and Jackie all of California. She will also be missed by longtime friends Joan Catron in Tennessee Sandy Bianco of Daytona Beach and numerous other friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to their local Humane Society in memory of Maxine.
