Maureen E. Blazejak was born November 21 1919 in Athlone Ireland. Friends and family may pay their respects to Mrs. Blazejak Tuesday October 19 2010 at Cardwell Funeral Home at 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a Funeral Mass on Wednesday October 20 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Epiphany. Maureen graduated from the College of Baltimore Maryland with honors in Gerontology and also an Associate of Arts degree. She retired from a career of nursing at Bon Secours Catholic Hospital in Maryland. She was a devout Catholic and co-founder of the Epiphany Thrift Store Eucharistic Minister Minister to the sick and a member of Epiphany Council of Catholic Women. Her devotion to the church was very important to her. Those who are left to cherish her memory are three brothers Frank Gill of England Anthony Gill of England Mike Gill of New York; and two sisters Delia O'Lougklin of England and Eileen Horton of Tucson AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her dear friends especially Dolores York and Thalia Sideropoulos. Mrs. Blazejak is preceded in death by her three brothers Bernard Gill Sean Gill Charlie Gill and one sister Rita Mulchay of England and her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Gill. Donations to the Church of the Epiphany Catholic Church may be made in lieu of flowers.
