Pat Howell nee Mattie Spear Snyder was freed from this world Friday July 15 2005. A sixteen year old high school graduate Berea College came next then successes in teaching retailing with Belinsky Enterprises Detroit Michigan; she was a ?Rosie the Riveter? where her less than five feet height and under a hundred pounds would let her rivet WWII airplanes so proficiently the President of the Murray Corporation would come buck rivets for her so a stocking could be rubbed over the rivet and not snag for roughness would trap water from the air freeze and bring down that American aviator. A life-long accomplished seamstress she sewed for her family including business suits and judicial robes for her judge-brother and dresses for the children of Potter?s Orphan Home. Locally she managed on of Mae?s Fabrics. Volusia County Schools? Volunteer for the Year in ?85 she gave of herself and her means to nature and educate children. She rode the camel in Israel sang ?The Tennessee Waltz? in Turkey. Her primary focus was that of Christianity as a long-time member of the Daytona Beach Church of Christ: she taught classes worked with bus children expending herself in ?every good work ? supporting the efforts of those working in the church in various parts of the world.

Mourning their loss while celebrating her victory the exemplary life that was hers are her son Denton Snyder and his family of New Mexico and local family P.A. and Earl Arnold.

Her mortal remains will be among her parents brothers and sister in New Hope Cemetery Clay County Tennessee.
