Matthew H. Young, 35, of Port Orange, Florida passed away suddenly on Tuesday July 12th. Matthew was born January 27, 1981 in Colombia, South Carolina to Harold and Connie Young. He has been a resident of Port Orange for the past 28 years, graduated from Spruce Creek H.S., loved the outdoor life, was an avid hunter and worked as an electrician.
Matthew was predeceased by his father Harold and his maternal grandparents, Leslie and Erline Williams. Those left behind to cherish Matthew's memory are his mother, Connie Young ofr Debary, his two sons Hunter and Justin of Butler, Ga., his two sisters, Renee Ussery of Columbia, S.C. and Stacey Hobbs of Forsyth, Ga. and his paternal grandparents, James and Virginia Young of Reynolds, Ga. A celebration of Matthew's life will be held Saturday, July 16th at Lohman Funeral Home of Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, Port Orange, FL 32127, beginning at 3:30 in the afternoon.
