On the evening of November 9 ^th 2022, Matthew Lee Raborne was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was 38 years old. Matt was born on June 11 ^th 1984 in Daytona Beach, FL to his loving and supportive parents Karen and Lewis Raborne. He was a devoted Christian, father, son, and brother.

Matt was an avid sports fan beginning from a young age, whether it was cheering on the Green Bay Packers, the Braves and the Seminoles or playing football and baseball for his high school team. He was also very passionate about anything outdoors, whether it was out on the water or in the woods hunting.

After graduating from Atlantic HS in 2002, Matt relocated to Rutherfordton, NC where he followed his passion as a lineman with Pike Electric for over 10 years and then Sumter Electric following that.

Matt had his share of challenges but also had many accomplishments to go with it. His greatest accomplishment was his endlessly adored son, Matthew Lee Raborne Jr. Matthew was and will always be his pride and joy. Matt is survived by his proud, devoted mother Karen and his hardworking, generous father Lewis; his brave, reliable brother Marshall (Kathryn); his adventurous, ambitious nephew Cameron; his witty, adoring grandmother Betty; His loving Aunts and Uncles, Tammy (Ferran) Billy (Connie) Lucy (Pre Dec'd) Sharon (Ed); Cousins Aaron ( Tiffany), Melissa ( Anthony), Stacy (Trina), Ferran JR, Ricky ( Corey), Aaron( Jamie), Stephanie ( Chris); Additional cousins and loyal friends , too many to list.
