Matthew Jon Karparis, 39, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away on Saturday November 23, 2019.  He was born on September 20, 1980 in Northhampton, Massachusetts.  He retired as a police officer for the Ormond Beach Police Department and was currently employed with Publix.  A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday December 7, 2019 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 West Granada Boulevard. Survivors include his mother, Sue (Ron) Schack; his partner, Stefanie Presnell;  aunt, Joanne (Larry) Feutral and uncle, Peter Diemand.
