On March 13, 2018 Marylynn Testa Miller was welcomed into the arms of Jesus after a long courageous battle with cancer. Marylynn was born on October 19, 1956 in New Haven Connecticut. She began studying piano at the ago of four with her father, a Julliard graduate.   By nine years old she was studying piano privately with Dr.Bruce Simonds, Dean Emeritus of Yale University.   In later years she studied with renowned pianists, Dr. Ruth Rendleman, Edmund Battersby and Barbara Holmquest.   Marylynn graduated Summa cum Laude from Montclair State University with a B.S. in Piano Performance. In addition to her many accomplishments, her greatest accomplishment was to pass on her lifelong love of music and passion for learning to her students.   Marylynn was predeceased by her mother Angelina (Mete), and father John Testa. She will be fondly remembered and loved by her sister Carol Cusick and brother-in-law Steven Cusick of Sanford Fl, brother John Testa Jr. of Hawaii, beloved cousins, friends, and students.
