MaryAnne Smith, 72 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born on October 14, 1951 in South Bend, Indiana. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter and grandmother who was always devoted to her family. She loved being a nurse and devoted over 40 years to her career in which she received her degree from Indiana University. She specialized in Special Procedures, Cardiac Care and Radiology. MaryAnne was a sweet and kind woman and loved gardening, shopping and watching sports with her family especially Notre Dame football. She also had an extreme love for animals and attending Elizabeth Ann Seton.

MaryAnne is survived by her husband of 52 years, Vinson G. Smith; daughter, Melanie Smith; granddaughter, Mila Pincus; and other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sofie Witucki and sister, Vicky Hojara.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 11:30am at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast located at 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW, Palm Coast, Florida 32137. A prayer service and time of sharing will begin at 12pm. Mary Anne will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, Mims, Florida at 2pm.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her name; a cause that was very special to her.
