Mary Barbara (Steeves) Vienneau entered into Eternal life on March 22 ^nd surrounded by her loving children at her daughter's home in Ormond Beach, Florida.  She is predeceased by her late husband of 64 years, Laurence E Vienneau. Mary was born on Jan 17 ^th , 1927. Her birth name was Mary Barbara (O'Brien) Johnson. Her childhood was spent in Boston, Massachusetts.  She was adopted at the age of twelve years old by Reginald and Obeline Steeves of Lynn, Massachusetts and shared her adolescent years with them and their daughter Joanne.  She is survived by her sister Joanne Brady of Idaho and her sister in-law Barbara Doyle of Wakefield, Massachusetts.   Mary is also survived by her seven children, Larry, Michael, Suzanne, Carol, Mary- Alyce, Joan and Joseph and twelve grandchildren. Mary graduated from St Mary's High School, Lynn, Massachusetts in 1946 and worked in Washington DC for the State Department of German Affairs from 1951-53.   She married the love of her life, Laurence Vienneau, in Washington DC on June 27 ^th , 1953. She was a devoted wife and mother.  She loved to sing, to speak with an "Irish Brogue" and make others laugh.  Mary enjoyed reading, discussing politics, and following Boston sports teams especially the Boston Red Sox and Celtics.   Mary loved to travel and traveled extensively with her husband.  Her favorite place to visit was Ireland; she felt a strong affinity to Irish Culture. The most important influence in her life was her beloved husband Larry. They shared a profound love and devotion to one another which was an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.  Their sixty four years of marriage, and friendship was a gift and treasured legacy. A combined Celebration of Life for both Mary and Larry will be celebrated in Massachusetts sometime in June.
